Privacy Policy
Averoq Lab respects your privacy and handles personal information carefully. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we may share it with, and how you can contact us about your information.
1. Information we may collect
We may collect information when you contact us, request a quote, become a client, use a website form, or work with us on an app project. This may include:

- support requests, feedback, messages and files you provide;
- technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, website analytics and usage data; and
- customer, booking or admin data provided by a client for the purpose of building or operating an app.
2. How we use information
We may use collected information to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare quotes;
- design, build, test, support and maintain apps, websites, dashboards and related systems;
- set up backend services, databases, admin areas, app listings and integrations;
- provide support, updates, bug fixes and service notices;

3. Client app data
Where we build or manage an app for a client, the client remains responsible for the information they collect from their own customers, staff or users. Averoq Lab may access, process or store that data only as needed to provide the agreed services, support the app, troubleshoot issues, maintain the backend, or comply with lawful obligations.
4. Third-party services
To deliver our services, we may use trusted third-party providers such as hosting providers, backend/database platforms, analytics tools, payment providers, email services, app stores, domain providers and support tools. These may include services such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Google, Apple, Stripe, Square, email providers and similar platforms.
5. Overseas storage and processing
Some third-party services may store or process information outside Australia. Where possible, we choose reputable providers and use reasonable steps to protect information, but we cannot control every third-party system or overseas processing location.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including account access controls, secure platforms, sensible permissions and careful handling of client data. No website, app, database, email system or online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Access, correction and deletion
You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you, to ask for corrections, or to request deletion where reasonable and legally permitted. Some information may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, dispute, security or service record purposes.
8. Marketing communications
If we send marketing emails or messages, we will aim to do so only with consent or where permitted by law. Marketing messages will include a way to unsubscribe where required. You can also contact us directly to opt out.
9. Data retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or support active client systems.
